I didn't know that a 1943 Lincoln Cent warranted a "copy". I thought most "copies" were of rare coins, like 1914-D or 1909-S VDB.

Anyway - I loved reading the description. It make I allow my many heartfelt happiness wonderful.

A 1943 Copper Cent (like what he's copying) is a big-time rarity.

Next he may offer a copy of the 'mule' 1959-D Wheat Ear Reverse Cent!

I'm sure that in a nation the size of China, there are a good number of fluent English speakers. However, many of the copy coin auctions from China sound like the "Japanesed English" mangled English of the 1980's (an American band even named themselves Let's Active)

Hey weerd, you could try some "Chinesed" English for your next auction:

I weerdsteev make Nickel Buffalo new good fortune again.
Indian more braid, original key date see new. Yes genuine all real coin 5 Cents United States.
You love I coin make collection happy and more key date.
Lucky prosperity with new good fortune Nickel Buffalo in your collection.

PS: If we tried to speak Chinese, it would probably come out sounding something like how that reads in English...

"This is not. sales of coins in, there you like, please collectors. Because he is worthy of your attention and storage, he will try to make you a more wonderful collection, and more valuable. "

You know, one could argue racist overtones insofar as one would be mocking in tone. But come on, this is an auction, and crap copy or not you have to be clear in your descriptions. All kidding aside, could you imagine trying to post a coin on a CHINESE auction site with a mandarin-english dictionary in your lap?! Of COURSE not, you'd get a native speaker fluent in english to do it for you. Same would go for me in any european language, and I've studied a few. But nowhere near enough to write an *auction listing* in that language!

Everyone to thank at to read my humble answer reply,

Bruce
