Any info on this coin appreciated. I know ziltch about them.
Specs. are: 3 CM.- 17 Grams - looks silver to me. Said to be around
100 B.C. And if so an approx. value if any.

It claims to be one of these, a tetradrachm of Seleucid king Antiochus VIII and his wife Cleopatra Thea, dated Year 192 Seleucid Era (= 120 BC). If it were genuine, it would be worth a thousand or two. Unfortunately, it's an exact match for this coin on the FORVM fakes database.

So it's definitely a fake. Sorry.

Thanks for that info. That's O.k. as I do not own it.
I wanted to be sure of what is was. I saw it on ebay.
$100.00 bid so far on it. Owner says it's value is 3K
Thought it looked too smooth and even for the real thing.
