Now this is a monumental event! I search through at least 100 bank rolls of cents per week, and I FINALLY pulled a 2009! A Log Cabin in really nice shape! Not a huge deal, but just wanted to share.

After months at the banks with nothing, I got a couple of rolls of LP2 earlier this week. Figure.

Funny! I don't have much time to search rolls anymore but have found three LP2's in my' pocket change in the last three weeks. Not a single LP1 to be found.

CND,
I haven't gone through many cent rolls lately, but I found 18 cabins and 2 log splitters in the last few weeks. Were you able to get any rolls around your haunts? A PNC had 30 about 6 weeks ago, and let me have 20. I know you were at the ceremony in Hodgenville, so you may not want anymore.

My first three 2009 cents came in change on Friday, July 3rd. All were LP2 Denver mints. We usually see Philly mint here in Illinois ... very strange.

I haven't found "roll hunting" to be rewarding enough, so I ceased all efforts to do it !

(even halves were producing zilch 100% of the time........Figured I had better things to do with my time & energy !)

Plus, I have all of the LP1's and LP2's that I need from "Two Roll Sets" and rolls or singles from very kind and very generous fellow CCF members so.....

And I have around 2,000 Wheaties in stock...so...finding one 1957 Wheat cent after going through 300 rolls, just isn't my idea of "fruitful" anymore !...
I'm always excited to add "one more" Wheat cent to the batch.......just not "that" way with "that" much effort any longer !

I just got 100 rolls today. One is marked 2008, but the other was processed last week at NF String. I hope there are some in there, but I don't have my hopes up. I've probably gone through 200 rolls this year and found 1.
