Yay, I went over to the bank today and picked up $5.00 in the log cabin penny and $5.00 in the lincoln sitting on the log one. Are these still hard to find? I was so excited to come across them. :)

Yes They are still hard to find! I still haven't found any rolls of the splitters! Some people were lucky enough to get a couple of boxes and been selling them on ebay for a profit. Eventually things will calm down and there will be plenty of uncirculated examples available at a reasonable price.

Yes, so far very hard to find...2009 dimes and nickels will be hard to find, and I think the Territorial quarters will have lower mintage numbers than of any of the State Quarters. 2009 will be a very collectible year, IMO, for coins struck for circulation.

I actually received two "P" birthplace Lincolns in change at a Panera Bread yesterday. The first I have seen in circulation. Still haven't found a roll in a bank around me yet. With the numbers made, it has to loosen up sooner or later. I can't justify paying a high premium for them now...the price has to come down significantly.

Yes they are still hard to find. I only have one and I'm planning to get a few more rolls today if I can find them.
Rest in Peace

I would love to find more in circulation, but also can't justify paying large acmounts of money for them on ebay and such.

I finally got my first Kramer in change yesterday. Still have not seen a log cabin in the wild though.
