The long scratches (one each on obverse and reverse) hurt the eye appeal. FYI, the S mintmark above the tip of the eagle's tail show this is a San Francisco coin. These command a premium price in higher mint state grade compared to the Philadelphia coin but in this condition it is only worth a bit more than bullion value. This is one of only 2 US coins that I have bought from this guy and have now found out both have been cleaned before I bought as I differently did not clean them. On both occasions he has failed to mention they were cleaned and just looking at them in hand they did not appear to be.
