I would adjust the brightness on your scanner. I bet this coin is not so "white" in hand.

This is a fine looking coin though and could go MS65. Seems a lock for 64 anyway.

Picture is a little bright, I would grade this at MS-63. Nice Morgan.

Here's the picture with a bit more depth and contrast ...

1900-Morgan

That cheek is spotless and the fields have a minimum of bag marks. Definite MS63 with a good shot at 64 or higher. MS63 is all I'll commit to based on these scans.

If you have a way to improve picture quality and/or picture size, by all means use it. There is a size restriction for posting directly to CCF (100kb or smaller), but you could upload them to a free photobucket account (or other photo-hosting site) then size is no longer an issue. If you need a quick tutorial on the "how" just ask.

byran,

If you have MS Office on your computer, right-click on the image in your file an select "open with" and then "MS Office Picture Manager". Then select edit picture from the top menu. I first adjust the brightness ... I darkened yours ... then I add contrast. I also use this program to crop, size and adjust the color. It's not as elaborate a Photoshop, but gets decent results.

P.S. - a 1900-O in MS63 can be had for between $40~$50
