I thought I would start a thread about weird stuff we find while searching coins. I'll start of with this one I found a couple of days ago.

Here is one I found in a Mint wrapped roll and thought: Bad planchet. Thenk I found a second one exactly the same way. Figured it had to be a strike through that something stuck to the die and did other strikes. Large die break with a Retained Cud. There are areas of the field that are different heights.

Nice strike thru Chuckster. I'll go with struck thru grease. I think the lines in the field between Lincoln and the right rim are the outer edges of the grease blob. I think the faint lines going across Lincoln are lines that are on the planchet and are there before striking. Just my opinion.

Found this while searching some rolls. It does not look like just a well worn coin. Not sure if you can see in the pic, but it looks almost like something is on the coin eliminating the detail. There is a crack or something running from 3 to 7 oclock and the rim looks flattened. It looks the same on both sides. Any ideas about this. Thanks
