While searching through dimes to fill my book, I happened across these. The date and the area surrounding looks different Is this die damage or circulation damage?
IMO the first one looks like a worn die and the second one is damage from a coin counting/wrapping machine. The end coins in a shotgun style wrapped roll will sometimes get damaged like this.
