Looking through a handful (about 30pcs) of lincoln change from my previous trips, found 2pcs of 1970 S mintmarks. The date appears to be "small" date, as the curved upper end of the number "9" appears to point to the top of the "7". But then again not so sure, it's really confusing. Would appreciate your valued comments. Thanks!
What is the easiest way to tell the difference between the two? In the small date, I look for the top of the 7 to be level with the top of the nine... In the large date, the top of the nine appears higher then the seven.
