Poll Question
I was using e-bay from just one dealer to complete my SBA, IKEs and JFKs... until I got some bad deals from that certain seller. I have bought from a few local guys.. but I am looking for new sources.

Where do you primarily buy your modern coins? that is, where do you buy most of your MODERN coins from?

Poll Choices

Local dealer that I have been going to for years. I like to see what I'm getting and also like to bargain a bit. Hard to do this on line.

9 times out of ten I pay too much (or more than I would if I was online) from local dealers. Every once in a while I will buy from local dealers but I mainly use ebay. Trusted sources are the key on ebay. especially when buying high end coins.

online stores for me. I am to the point where all of the modern coins that I need, are key dates, and my local stores are all bought out.

Either buy them from local dealer (like to see what I'm getting) or from the good members at CCF as long as good pictures are provided.

I don't do ebay anymore. Got tired of dealing with whether I was going to receive my coins or not and most things I got from there were over represented.

Coin shows don't come around here to this part of the country enough so I rarely get to go to those. Flea markets and antique stores are always way overpriced so I don't look for coins there anymore.

I know of nobody in town with whom I can exchange coins with. No coin clubs here as far as I know.

Anywhere and everywhere...

I am not a wealthy man, but often when in any brick and morter shop I spend an hour or two going from one side to the other and set myself up a pile. This helps create a little "wiggle" room when in bargain hunting.

I have not yet reached the limits for buying and selling on this community but I already have seen that I will probably be quite active when I do.
