Ok, so PCGS gives out less 70s than NGC with modern proofs, but what about with high grade MS-67 to MS-69 circulating coinage such as the new lincoln pennies?
Does PCGS and NGC grade the same with these types of coins?

I really think there will be little difference between a pcgs 70 and a ngc 69. Lie someone else in another topic said, I think pcgs gives out less. to dictate the prices.

No, I'm talking about BU coins like the new lincoln pennies. Are their grading standards the same with these types of coins?

I have seen both companies where I disagreed with their grading one way or another (I thought they should be lower or higher graded) but its according to what you are looking for. If you want to resale the items then honestly PCGS is the way to go but that doesn't make them better graders in my opinion. Once something is in my collection I am not usually willing to sell it anyhow unless something better comes along. I am one that usually either get what I like and keep or get what I need and crack them out of the slabs once I have them to insert them into an album. The different slab companies doesn't mean a thing to me

mine was a REAL opinion. I think both of them make mistakes and I have seen both of them that I thought did a good job. If for my collection and I had to have it slabbed I would probably go with which ever I had the membership with, if I didn't have a membership with either I would just go with ANACS (even though in my opinion they are the toughest graders right now) because there are no membership fees. If for resale then obviously I would want to go with what I could get the most money for and that would be PCGS

Quote: Any REAL opinions on the subject? Are you kidding? Making real money buy simply having modern coins graded is, at best, going to be a very difficult task for you (or anyone else). At worst, it is a fool's errand.

Quote: Any REAL opinions on the subject? Yes, here's a real opinion: You've already asked the same basic question multiple times in this forum and others. Be satisfied with the answers you've gotten, or maybe even use the Search function - this is hardly the first time the topic has come up.
