I am new to the forums and have been enjoying myself here. I have seen many collectors just starting their first sets and thought this would be a perfect way to help them out... I might be new the the boards but I am NOT new to collecting coppers.

Here it is........

Objective- Stacking pennies. Stacked as high as you can in a single penny footprint. No gluing, no props or other BS funny business.

Nothing other than a good flat surface, and CLEAN DRY COINS PENNIES stacked on top of each other. No leaning your stack against the wall, NO CHEATING. I wont argue details with someone trying to put one over on everyone. I want this to to be a clean and fair fight to the top. Keep reading, I think I have made it very worth your while to see what you can do...

Copper-Contest-For-All-Penny-Lovers...dont-Miss-This-One!

Materials- Only US small cents may be used for construction.

Proof- Clean crisp pictures, at LEAST 2 pictures of from each entry of their finished stack with a ruler or tape measure easy enough for everyone to read. Pics preferably from different angles to help prove your case that your stack is legit. Pictures do not have to be perfect, but need to be clean enough to prove your case if challenged. Entire stack in view.

In the event of a tie, then I decide the winner based on attention to detail and effort. Crowd is welcome to give input too in the case of a tie but this has never happened before so it is all about YOU.

Deadline- Contest ends Sunday August 15th at noon Forum time so don't wait until last second. It is much harder than it looks.

Prizes! Aside from the bragging rights and fame from the other roll searching animals such as yourself, you will ALSO get...

1- 1909 VDB Graded at VG-VF
This should get you off to a good start on your Wheaties..

1- Whitman coin folder Volume 1 1909-1941
1- Whitman Coin folder Volume 2 1941-1974
1- Whitman coin Folder Volume 3 1975-Current

PLUS! 2 lbs of Wheaties unsearched, pulled form my hoard. No not the BS lots from the bidding site. These are from MY mint bags I have stashed for ME..

AND! 100-2x2 flips to catalog your finds...

All shipped free of charge to your doorstep. Yes even you International folks are welcome to participate.

So remember folks- no cheating. Fight hard and lets see some height form these other so-called penny addicts.

Lets get it on!

You can post pics as you go or at the end but don't wait until the last second to try as you will miss out.

Contestants can post as many tries as they like throughout the contest. Mini prizes will be given out throughout the entire contest.

Your stack can be winding and perfectly balanced, or it can be straight as an arrow it is up to you..

Yeah, it did. I didn't think I'd even manage to take a photo of them.

If only 71 were all I had. But there is 4 times more in the bag.. Well, I got them for free since they're practically impossible to sell here.

Ahh, GO you are a nut case. You are always making me laugh.

This is a great competition, can't enter as I don't have enough cents, but may just try it with some Aussie coins, just for fun.
