I agree with an EF-45 details grade. It's pretty solid for that grade IMO. There are a lot of contact marks and the fine hairline scratches suggest it has been cleaned. The photos may be exaggerating the severity of the scratches. The color looks OK. The 1882-S is a common date and in circulated grades the value tracks closely with the gold bullion price. I'd call this an acceptable example. The photos are just fine.
