2009 Lincoln Bicentennial specials while supplies last
4 COIN 2009-S LINCOLN BICENTENNIAL CENTS IN LEGACY HOLDER PCGS GRADED PR69 DEEP CAMEO $55

4 COIN 2009-S LINCOLN BICENTENNIAL CENTS IN INDIVIDUAL HOLDERS PCGS GRADED PR69 DEEP CAMEO $70

5 COIN 2009-S LINCOLN BICENTENNIAL CENTS WITH LINCOLN COMMEM DOLLAR IN MASTER HOLDER PCGS GRADED PR69 DEEP CAMEO $190

I thought I would share this e-mail I received from Numismatic News, 1st I did not know there were these coins graded higher than MS66,(I need to get out more often)Also, this 5-coin set with the Commem, I would venture to guess, there will be MANY more companies putting this exact set together( as one of our ( Eagle-eye ) members had pointed out.
For me this is the first set I have seen together other than the U S MINTS SET I have only heard of, ANY thoughts, only $190.00..

Well, it depends on where these coins are going. As of right now, you can sell anything 2009 lincoln at a premium. That can change if people lose interest. Case in point would be the huge premium the 2004 Peace Nickel sets brought 4 years ago. Those prices have settled down. Speaking of course, from a standpoint of remuneration....lol

From a numismatic standpoint, for less than 200 bucks you get prime examples of all these beauties. So far as I know the Lincoln Commem Dollar was produced in a quantity of 125,000 in BU and a little more than twice that in proof. So there's that too, in addition to certified proofs in Cu/Zn composition in top condition.

Best

Bruce

PS: Are there any current mintage figures for the Lincoln cents in 2009 yet?

Well I don't know about any email from NN but this sounds a lot like the ad run by Chattanooga Coin in the June 15th Coin World (Same description of Legacy and Master holder) only their coins were 70's and slightly higher.

(By the way the "Legacy" and "Master" holders referred to are multi-coin PCGS holders, the same holders that PCGS claims they don't use. As I say, yeah they don't use them....except for "special customers".)

Its a hot buy right now for sure but I think I will wait to see where it is 5 / 10 years from now or even longer. That will be the true test.
