This is the "unidentified foreign coin" that I found while searching through nickel rolls in my quest to search 25,000 rolls of nickels. Too big for a cent roll, the coin counter put it in a nickel roll. Any help will be appreciated; thanks!

Yep. The obverse legend reads "72nd Year of the Republic of China". Year 1 was 1912, so add 1911 to the Chinese Republic calendar year to get the AD date: 1983.
