Could some one please identify this coin,its dated 1570,i have included a link to the picture,mods might want to add it to the message,i have problems resizing with my computer program

I believe it's a French jeton.

Jetons are not coins and were not used as money, though in France their issue was controlled by the government. In France they were mainly used as counters on counting boards, an abacus-like device which helped people do mathematics using Roman numerals and to calculate money using the notoriously complicated predecimal French monetary system.
