Hello, in a ebay search for Canadian coins I came across the seller: aramis26061950 he sells everything.. all fakes, NONE marked as such, except in his description... here is another link and then check out his offers....ALL Fakes. http://cgi.ebay.com:80/ws/eBayISAPI...B:SS:US:1123he is located in Belgium... I think he is implying that the coins aren't marked "copy".

It doesn't matter if the Canadian coins are marked copy or not. It is a violation of ebay policy to sell copies of Canadian coins. Previously discussed here: https://goccf.com/t/50058Edited by steve199

I can pull the item up by going to ebay.com and typing in the item number, but can't find it by doing a search. Also, his listings say "ships worldwide", but United States and Canada are not available in the drop-down that lists the country. So not an ebay rules violation, I suppose. |

have sent a complaint to ebay. might send the seller a note also asking him what is trying to achieve. last time I checked, Belgium was an EU country. Will check out the EU requrem3ents about selling fake coins..even if they are declared as such but not stamped.! |

I was thinking maybe this guy didn't know about Ebays latest policy change, But the fact that he doesn't offer shipping to the US or Canada makes me think differently. It is illegal in Canada to own such a coin...not the whole world. Maybe this guy found himself a loophole by not offering shipping to the US or Canada....Anyhow it's Ebays problem. If you feel so strongly about this listing, report it to ebay using the link on this forum. If it needs to be removed, they ususally get to it quickly. (I only report listings that are meant to defraud) |

The listings are not on ebay USA, so the rules related to the US Hobby Protection Law don't apply. Neither would the new rules for Canadian copies that ebay has in place for ebay Canada and US. I did report the listings several hours ago, before realizing the listings are in a different section of ebay. |
