Sorry, I don't own it. A fellow poster on another site posted it and I made the images above from his images. Value..... Priceless. Probably a one of a kind or just a few till they cleaned/junked the dies. Probably a Heritage auction when he does want to sell it. Just as happy as clams with it and who wouldn't be!

Hey guys dont give up on finding these errors, I found twelve of these "double thumbs" in my P-roll from the mint dated as late as 06/08/09. If you can't see from my pic' it is attributed as CDDR-012 and cross referenced WDDR-016. I also found (of lesser interest) 3 coins with pretty good die cracks running from reverse rim to up and over the mallet by Lincolns leg in my mint P-roll dated 06/05/09.

The sad part of finding one on the end of the roll is that the two outside are usually damaged from the rolling machine. But on a more positive note, there may be more on the inside, or there may not. It just depends on the coin in there.

Coop, you are so right, Remember when the people rolling up coins in rolls put a cardboard "plug" at the ends, Some things do not change for the better........ Just found some unopened rolls the other day, all 1968-BU'S...GoldLike.....

When I see auctions on ebay for circulated wheat/Indian head cents, I don't get excited. Those rolls were probably rolled with those coins showing on the ends of the rolls. Most likely damaged from the wrapping process. The 2009-P rolls the end coins always got back into circulated unless they are very nice DDR's. But 90% of the time they are just common coins. So I toss one in rolls that I send back just to get someone excited find one. When they look closer, they will know why I threw them back.

Coop, Just a thought, when the Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set is released, A- Do you think the 50,000 sets will sell in one day( we should have a contest to see who is the closest to the actual sell out date/time )Also do you think you will have a shot at receiving one( should you be interested in one )?

Probably more like 20 minutes. Some will scoop in and take major amounts of them like usual. Give me the better chance a buying rolls of dates that I want to open instead of jumping into a swimming pool of doubled edged razor blades. ("Weird Al")

How can the people you speak of get more than the "set limit/household?"Are you inferring the playing field is not level!!I want one and will try my best to achieve this goal.....I feel the set will not sell out in one day but more like a few, just my opinion....

If there is a limit it would help. Maybe a few would get one. But one coin that got snagged up sold out in about the time I mentioned. Seem like they should have a pick a number system so many would get the chance to buy them instead of having to buy them inflated on ebay. That would allow all to have a better chance to get one. As for me, I probably won't go for it.

Looking through another roll last night, of the U S Mint wrapped LP2'S (Philly) I again found on the box dated 4-20-09 41- coins of varying Rev Dbl'd dies and Obv-Clashed dies, this batch is apparently among some fine errors.....
Anyone else open any??
