Question About Lincoln's In The 2009/Clad/Silver Proof Sets

I think this thread could educate others as well, as I have seen others who thought since all the coins were in the Silver Proof Set that all the coins were in fact silver based coins. The only coins that are any different in the "Silver Proof Set" is the quarter, the half, and the dime the rest is exactly the same composition as the regular coins in the other proof set or even pocket change (just the way the dies are prepared is different in the proof version)

But the cents in the proof sets are not the same composition as would be found in pocket change. Unless you are talking about pocket change from 50-100 years ago. :)

The Lincoln Cent in the Clad Proof and Silver Proof sets are the same, as far as composition. I would certainly "compare" the coins in each set to see if one is better than the other, ie I have 2 2009 sets and the Silver proof set for whatever reason has much nicer cameros than the Clad Proof set.
