i have gotten 2 silver sets and I am very happy with 4 cents designs in the silver they are made out the material original Lincoln's
the 2009 clad set used bronze for their designs

should I get a clad set just to get the bronze, or will the ones in the silver sets hold their value better
need advice from a more experienced collector as I am new and all help greatly appreciated

I am a little confused by what you are asking.

The cents in the Silver Proof Set and the Clad Proof Set are identical in composition. 95% copper, 3% zinc and 2% tin.

.......I'm confused as to what the question is as well.

The Silver Proof Set Lincolns and the Proof Set Lincolns are indeed identical composition.
As to which Set might be worth more.....well.....who knows, but the Silver Sets usually cost more for obvious reasons.
The Uncirculated Mint Set will have 95% Coppers as well....FYI.

i am sorry I didn't put my question more clearly

i have 2 silver proof sets and the question was about the Lincoln's
do you think the silver proof Lincoln's will be more collected or higher valued than the clad set of bronze Lincoln's?

The Lincoln Cent set from the 2009 Silver and 2009 Clad Proof sets are 100% identical.

That is, the exact same coins, the exact same composition, and the exact same "US Flag" lens design!

Not sure if this is what you are asking, but not all of the coins in the Silver Proof Set are made of silver. Only the quarters, dime, and half are silver. The dollars, nickel, and cents are standard composition and thus are identical between the two sets (Clad and Silver).

In the case of the cents, the composition of the coins in the two sets are identical. There is absolutely no difference.

this is not true true on us mint website
clad sets contain 4 lincoln in bronze
silver proof Lincoln's are the composition of the original Lincoln's set

and finally what I was asking
clad being cast in bronze
and silver set being cast in original composition which would be more valuable to collectors

Bronze is the original composition of Lincoln cents! Or as they say down here, six in one hand, half dozen in the other.

From the Mint Website: "Lincoln Cents contain an alloy consisting of 95% copper, 3% zinc and 2% tin that matches the alloy used in the original 1909 version."

From the Free Dictionary: "Bronze: A yellow or brown alloy of copper and tin, sometimes with small amounts of other metals such as lead or zinc."

(Emphasis is mine.)
