I got an email about someone wanting to sell me another $5.00 Liberty gold coin to replace the one thats in there now and I have to admit every time I look at my gold page in my 7070 album that coin always looks out of place (and am sure others have asked themselves what its doing in there and was just to nice to ask) and figured I needed to explain why its there. It was the first gold coin I ever owned and was given to me by my Grandfather and it is the whole reason I even bought the Gold Page for the Album and even though I have had chances to replace that one coin to make the whole album look more uniformed I just cant seem to make myself take that coin out to replace it. The only other coin in the album from his collection I had was a 1810 Classic Head Large Cent in about AU-55 condition and there was a big argument between family members and myself because my grandfather had given me his collection (even though they never showed any interest in coins at all and he and I used to search through his collection for hours trying to fill empty folders he had). But to make a long story short I gave up the Classic Head Large Cent just to try and keep peace with the family and since then I just can't seem to bring myself to take the only other coin he had given me that actually meant something to him (from his story it was given to him from his Grandfather) in the album

It is a nice piece, not MS but I bet it worth more than the entire 7070 in sentimental value. I would not take it out. I would display it proudly among the others!

Wow, you certainly need to keep that coin right where it is, unless of course if you ever find a place of higher honor for it.

I have an 1857-O Dime in my 7070 given to me by my grandfather when I was 10. In spite of some flaws, it's got a history that the other coins can't beat.

So, I totally understand...
