Numismedia lists them as follows:

1922 D VF20 17.25
1924 D VF20 37.95
1924 D F12 27.60
1931 S XF40 126.50

Someone with a Greysheet may be able to give better prices.

Here's what I would market price these at if they are raw and problem free.

'22-D in VF35: $30
'24-D in VF20: $55
'24-D in F12: $45
'31-S in XF40: $120

The 1924-D's are tough to get a good price on and could go $5 to $10 higher. Strike quality and eye appeal are critical too with exceptionally nice pieces bringing as much as a 50% premium.

Lincoln's have always been widely collected, thus making the lower mintage coins pricier due to the supply/demand factor. (everybody building a complete set needs one) It was the first set I started working on in 1972.

I did a completed listing search on ebay.
these are final price listing from ebay and are as close to true current market value as you can get in my opinion.

(22-D vf-35) completed listing: NGC graded vf-35 -$30.55
(24-D vf-20) completed listing: NGC graded vf-20 -$51.52
(24-D f-12) completed listing: NGC graded f-12 -$43.57
(31-S xf-45) completed listing: ANACS graded XF-40 -$110.00

I used NGC and ANACS examples since they are reputable TPG's. These slabbed coins probably sold at a premium over raw coins. I would say 8%-15% above what you would expect to pay for a raw coin.

It is simple to do this type of research on ebay (you dont even need to be a member) just do a search and scroll down the left side and click completed listings to see the final sale price of like items from the last week.

Hope this helps

Prices are about correct for the tougher dates.
However you never know if you are able to pick them up
at various flea markets, coin shows, estate sales, here on the
forum, etc.

Your key dates and semi key dates are always going to cost more and the sooner you can buy them the better. Over the last few years the price on these two coins has doubled (depending on what source you use) and will keep going up because of the quantity of them available.

I would suggest to do some major searching (like you are doing) by looking at as many sources as possible. Just last night I was looking for these coins on ebay and watching to see how much they would sell for. By the time they sold, the prices varied depending on how they were listed and the time they ended, but most of them sold for just under their suggested price. The problem with using ebay is that the seller may not be completely honest and may be pulling a switch-a-roo on you, ALWAYS make sure they have some type of return policy or do not buy from them at all.

I have to agree with richardschornak on looking at odd places to buy coins because you can sometimes pick them up for cheap. Some of these coins may have been bought years ago for nothing and selling them at a discount price not only gives them a small profit but also clears out more inventory. If a seller has items marked with a price, make sure they will sell at that price and not mark it up at the counter. By doing this you should be able to go through large quantities of coins and find the one or two gems hidden in the masses. This is how I have lucked out on all my semi-key dates and kept the collecting at my budget level.
