There are some jfk's that are valuble. Best thing is to pick up a Red Book so you can find what years are more collectable than others if your interested in starting a set. If you are looking at one type of coin, like JFKs, I'd go to the lbrary and photocopy the pages for a quick at-home reference. Also, with the modern coins you will have to keep in mind that you probably need a very nice condition coin (or an error coin) in order for it to be worth something more than face (as a very general rule).
