Found this 79P roll searching half's earlier this afternoon.

does this look like it might be improperly annealed?

It has a black sheen to it- hard to see with these pics.

Opinions welcomed as usual.

Dunno. Looks more like dark toning from environmental exposure to me.

You might be right, I'm also not sure, its just that this coin has a black sheen to it as opposed to something on the plain dull side that caught my curiosity about it.

I also think that it is some sort of environmental issue causing the color to be dark.
