I am not too sure why the link isn't working. Might be because of the spaces or brackets of the names of the files that's causing the problem.

GX: It's the brackets. If on the linked "Oops!" page you edit the address, replacing the two "%20"s with "(" and ")", then the pics turn up (well, it works in Firefox, anyway). My filenames have spaces in them and I've never have trouble seeing my posted pics.

Scoutjim: Nice coin: France (Second Republic) 5 francs 1850, Paris (A) Mint.

I'd call it VF, assuming the black tarnish patches are the remnants of an old cleaning job coming back to haunt us. CV in Krause is $35. In Fine it's $15, in EF it's $100 though to me it looks knocked about too much to rate that high.

Jim - I would essentially agree that the highest grade you could possibly assign is VF, but personally I would grade it F+ indicating a good Fine. I base this on a combination of wear, surface and rim knocks and the fact that it appears to have been cleaned. But the price would be a solid $25.

interesting grade everyone Thank you for your feed back I can say that the photo does not quite show the detail of the coin but there are a lot of scratches and or bagmarks . I do think it has been cleaned but below the Unc grades should bag marks really effect your grade ( Know it does take a way from the eye appeal department. just thoughts and thank you for your comments I was grading it at Vf but I like to be very conservative.
