Welcome!! Can you show us a picture? Price almost always depends on condition.

I tried to take a picture with my digital camera but it dident come out right it is not focusing on the quarter its blurry I think my camera is not equipped for detailed pictures. I can say its a bran new quarter I got fromthe bank its very shiny and new looking. the copper on the obverse side is very shiny as well. but I guess without a picture that dosent help much.

Hi Linda

Does your camera have a macro setting ?

If not take the picture from a few inches perhaps 6 or 7 or where ever the camera will focus on the quarter,, and then crop and enlarge it.

Since there are ways to remove the clad layer ,, it is really important to see the coin,, there are however legitimate missing clad layer quarters and once authenticated they sell for pretty good money ,, some as much as 100.00 bucks or more .

do not if you can help it touch the face of the coin with your fingers , do not clean or rub the surface , these things will all effect the grade and in order the value.

Please try the photo's again ,,

Rick

quarters without a clad layer go for up to $300 on ebay.
(that is, in uncirculated condition)
