It is really very interesting that I am from China.
But now I am here to look for some Chinese coins.

I collect circulated world coins and non-silver or gold commemorative coins.
These coins are not expensive at all. But I still can not have all of such coins of China even I am a Chinese.
Because some Chinese coins have been sold just abroad. Almost no in China.
So I try to find out where can I buy the following coins.

1. 1980 Olympics commemorative coins - 8 different coins.

2. 1982 WORLD CUP SOCCER coin and 1983 OR 1984 PANDA coin

Any informaiton of the above coins will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Perhaps the value of them might be cheap. You are more likely to find them on ebay.com if you are lucky, but be prepared to take time to look for them as well as to pay more than what Krause states there.

I used to have the 1980 Olympics set but sold it to a friend who wanted it for his collection. If I ever see such coins, I'll let you know if I can remember :)

Dear gxseries, thanks for your kind reply, which is really encouraging to me. I know it is very possible that I can find the coins I want here. To be frank, before I posted this topic, I am not quite sure whether I can get any information. Thanks.

It is also a pity that your 1980 Olympics has been sold.

I have searched on ebay, but did not find anything. You are right that it will take time.
Please let me know when you see these coins again. Thanks so much.

You MUST look harder bob_yan_cn!!! Here are some examples on ebay at the moment, except that they are piefort, as in double thickness. Those are exceeding rare and I have seen such set only once in my life time.
