O.K., I have been through all the threads in this section, and do have a question which hasn't come up. Which magazines/periodicals do you all recommend?

I have a weakness for good magazines anyways (subscribe to several literary and motorcycle magazines) and pick up numismatic hobby magazines when in the book store. Which would be worth subscribing to?

I like to look at Coin Values, but the price guide is getting so huge thanks to the State Quarter program, presidental dollars, westward journey nickels and new lincolns, that the actual magazine is now very small. Usually there are grading guides for many series during the course of a year. Off the shelf is usually a couple of months behind if you subscribe.

I also used to subscribe to both Numismatic News and Coin World. Both are ok to read, but there are so many advertisements the stuff to read is really quite small.

Most of the stuff I read is now online. I subscribe to a weekly newsletter that is free and it keeps me updated.
