From the pictures it looks as though there is a little bit of wear on the tip of the moustache and on the eye brow. However, the glare from the light source next to these areas might also be giving an impression of flatness. Is the line behind the Kings head a scratch? The reverse is very nice, but what is the black stuff through the L and N, is it carbon or some sort of organic substance?

From the pictures I would say aUnc, in hand I think it might grade higher.

Well Sean, reckon you're Spot-on there. Been experimenting with lighting and those 'white bits' are just glare. And yes, that is small scratch behind king's head (more's the pity), and dark spots on reverse isn't vertigris (so I'm told), looks like black texta in real life, but still don't know.

And bought as aUnc - but with fine scratch.

So you get 10/10 and many thanks.
