1973 Penny No Vbd - Coin Community Forum

thingee Pillar of the Community United States 2177 Posts	Posted 05/01/2006 9:17 pm I have a 1973 Lincoln Penny with no VBD. Does anyone know about this penny? I've never posted any pictures. I'm new to all this. I'll start working on getting a pic of it here. It will probably take me a few tries but I'm pretty stubborn. I am new here and already feel welcomed! There is no listing or info that I have on the 1973 Mint mark ? No VDB. It is possible that it was polished off, or that it was filled with some thing,grease or metal shavings or both. I still haven't been able to find it. I got my scanner running again and I tried pics of pennies and I am impressed. Now to figure how to them on this forum! That's my next project.
