Looks like a double die error. You can pretty much see another five coiming off of the first one. These are worth a little bundle. Am I correct?

can you show a picture of the whole coin I dont think its a double die but a double strike it kind of looks like the metal has moved with the die

It's abraded die doubling. It is the result of die fatigue, overuse. In 1955 they are extremely common, I have rolls of them. The dies were used to excess in Philadelphis that year as well as 1946, 1949, 1953, and 1954. No premium value.
