I visited Bermuda many times and each time tried to get a circulating coin set for the year of my visit.

Does anyone have an idea where I might be able to get coins to fill in my collection?

I need most 2007 coins, a penny for 2008 and whatever may have been issued for 2009.

Bermuda's a very small country, and though it's population is regularly boosted by visitors (many of whom will souvenir some coins), it's still way too small to need to make lots of coins every year. The coins you seek may not exist.

There are dealers around that seem to specialize in acquiring the latest circulation coins from around the world. I know of one near me, but since I'm in Australia, I'm sure there are others closer to where you are.

There's always ebay, which for cheap common modern word coins, you normally can't go too wrong with.

Thank you for the reply. I have tried ebay and they do not have any recent coins. I have also tried our local coin dealers but they carry only US coins.

I also know Bermuda sometimes skips years but I am looking to find coins that were produced but unavailable on my last trip.

Anyone got an absolutely shiny new Krause out there? Mine is too old to help on this.

Sap is right. According to Krause there were no circulating coins minted in 2007 for Bermuda. It appears that the 2008 Penny does exist. As far as 2009 is concerned, I'm not sure data would be available for that yet.

Thank you for the response.

I have a 2007 penny and 25 cent coin from my last trip. Perhaps they did not mint all coins.

Any idea where I can get a 2008 penny and verify what was produced for 2007?

I did a quick search of the usual places that I find modern world coins, but came up empty on the coins you are looking for. Sorry...

Might want to send BMA an email about those coins - http://www.bma.bm/notes-coins/contact-coin.html

There's no mintage declared on the BMA website.
