I really don't know, so any help would be great. I am going to try to post the pic, but I am kinda retarted, hopefully I do this right!

The doubling of 1991 is pretty cool if you look close, same thing on "liberty" but not as obvious. Is there any value to something like this? I am pretty new to coin collecting. Thank you in advance.

Hi:

Unfortunately, (IMHO) your coin is showing Die Deterioration.

The experts will be along shortly for a lot better explanation than what I can give you.

Rest in Peace

This is the result of the plating shifting during a strike. We call it plate shift doubling. It adds no value to the coin. It seems to occur more frequently as the dies deteriorate.

Thanks,
Bill

Thank you all for your answers. It was a neat find though.

Take care,
Tim
