Hi all. I haven't done any roll searching since winter, but still search through pocket change as I receive it. My girlfriend gave me her change, and I found this one. I only have five other 2009's to compare it to, but the date shows minor notching and Liberty seems a little plump with some notching, especially on the Y. I don't see it listed on Coppercoins. What do you guys think?

Thanks for looking,Mike

Hi John. Good question. It's the one with Abe splitting logs on the reverse. LP2?

Mike you might enjoy checking out another site that has many listings for the LP2's. I didn't see an exact match though, yet.

I didn't see an exact match on coppercoins. Maybe something is missing or it is probably a new listing. Most of the LP2 comes from mint boxes. So it if came from circulation it may be a new listing.

It is definitely a doubled die, and could be a new one to coppercoins. Many, many of these new doubled dies are not yet listed....we list them by photographing someone's coin who found it - no other way, really.
