Would like to hear what Mike Diamond thinks of this one. Doubling on In God We Trust on the second strike? Counterfeit die garage job? Almost perfect alignment with the first strike?
Rest in Peace

It is one of the threads on the CONECA Forum. It is an interesting thread. Bottom line is they suspect it is a fake.

I'm not sure what happened there.I checked it a few days before the auction ended and bidding was up to $338.00. That's strange

Looking back at the image, the two strikes appear to be from two different dies. The die scratches are in different places, the motto letters are different die state. So no wonder it looks like a fake. The devices should be more complete and not cut off on the second strike. Still looks interesting until you look closer.
Note edge of die on this image of the second strike.
