Please if you feel I'm leaving one or two out tell me why. The coins that I have underlined I already have in certified slabs. I collect both PCGS and NGC. I read the forum alot. And sorry Dave but my photo sills are really bad or you would have photos to. Please tell me what you think and if I should add one. craigh New Member United States 33 Posts	Posted 08/30/2009 10:35 am Well, if you allow westward journey for the nickels and Statehood Quarters, you should have the 2009 Lincoln bicentennial cents, and the Washington territorial and national parks series. Also, steel lincolns deserve a nod. Eisenhower's had 40% silver uncirculated strikes but I don't believe they were ever intended for circulation, so you list should be ok there. cownas22 Pillar of the Community United States 1055 Posts	Posted 08/30/2009 10:50 am The problem for me when looking at the list from a personal prospective it is non-realistic. I personally, not withstanding extreme circumstances, could not afford to complete such a set in any decent grade. Such coins as the flowing hair coppers, 1790's dimes, quarters, halves, dollars, Gobrecht, Capped Bust Gold, ect. Without spending a fortune on the set I could not complete it. Even though it may not be a totally "complete" U.S. type set I decided to shoot for the 7070 with some personal additions such as Classic Head Gold $2.50, $5, and possibly the three types of 3cn silver along with what ever else I come across I want to add. That is one thing that is great about coin collecting, you get to make it your own! Good Luck on completing that set. Good luck on the Draped Bust, small eagle half dollar. It would be a beautiful type set but unrealistic from a cost standpoint unless you have a really thick wallet. Report this Post to the Staff

I noticed you had the westward nickels and even Presidential dollars that will be added to for quite a few years and will need an album all by themselves. I am just wondering because if you are going to add to it with every new thing that comes out from the mint until you die that is fine I was just wanting to know if you had a cut off date (mine was the turn of the century). If you are going to add to it indefinitely then I would go ahead and get the early ones done first because those are going to be the hardest to find (especially the chain cent and stuff) Report this Post to the Staff
