Ive seen a lot of NGC and PCGS slabs with the 'weak edge' designation. Now, when I was looking through some of the new Polk dollars I found 2 of these: It looks like the edge lettering was so strong that it pushed some of the metal up on the coin. I've never seen anything like this, is this common? Thanks!
I usually see this with Bimetallic 1-lira Turkey coins, in years 2006 through 2009. They're not rare here, probably because of the manufacturing process, but don't know the process in the States.
Because I have a few of these(don't remember which prez) they must not be collectible, lol. But really I would like to know if they have a premium. John1
