This person states in the auction they inherited them from a grandfather... happens a lot.

They state that a friend said they might be AU. There are some better dates if they get into the AU range.

So I went to check out their feedback, and the coins they " inherited" were recently bought off ebay.

They are acting like they do not know anything, but actually they do.

I emailed the seller with this accusation... awaiting a response.

Let us know how it goes. It seems many sellers play dumb and say they don't know much about them or they were inherited. They build them up to me more than they are to try and lure you in.

On the other hand, there's enough rare S-mints in that lot to make it an attractive proposition. If the '03S even approaches AU, the buyer will more than cover his costs just from it.

My guess is the 03-S will be f-vf
He says they are all vf and up. Probably with overgrading considered, it will be f and up.

Thats all it would be is a guess, the photo's were useless,, I guess the buyer had the money to gamble with !!

or maybe even asked for better pics and got them,, we may never know ,, but I think I will check back in a week or so and see if feedback on the deal has been posted !!

This auction had several black marks or grey marks against it, most mentioned above: lousy images, " inherited" in his description, purported ignorance of coins, and three negative/neutral feedbacks of only 103 transactions. I hope the BIN winner has a lot of good kharma on his side; otherwise, I hope he can afford to lose. He sure didn't buy the Morgans on the basis of the description.. I hope.

Plus there are 29 bid retractions from him. If I sold something to him and he wants to retract his bid you know something is going on
