I have a lock box at the bank, where I keep some notes in, I went to check on them today, and noticed one of my dollar sleeves seems warped, like how wood gets if it drys too much. I don't believe it was bent like this before, but appears like it contracted and bent (almost like it was heated and warped alittle...), would moisture or humidity have done this? Has anyone heard of this before? Please let me know if you have any ideas what might have happened. :/

Thanks in advanced;

I had the same thing happen to mine that I kept in a home safe. Not sure why, but I chalked it up to the fact that they were old sleeves and bought newer ones that I know are archival quality!

That's a good suggestion, I think I will replace my old sleeves with new ones. I'm hoping the next sleeve that warped (if there is another one x crossing my fingers that there wont be ) wont damage the note from the bending, thanks for replying

If you are worried about humidity or moisture in your safe deposit box I might suggest buying a Silica Gel Desiccant Canister which is used to remove moisture from the air in enclosed spaces. I use them in the safe to keep the moisture and humidity away from my collection.
