I am still going through her stuff and I found a little box of coins, all from 1914. (I bet you can see this coming). The box contained 2-1914D, 7-1914S and 19-1914 pennies. In additions to a number of dimes, quarters, 3-halves (all 1914S) and a number of foreign coins, (no US nickles). Thanks Mom!! Report this Post to the Staff

biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 09/14/2009 12:31 pm Just a quick counterfeit check- look at the lower left shoulder for the VDB(should not be there) and the opening of the D mintmark should be triangular in shape and not rounded.
