Help Please W/ ID Of Person On Coin-Like Butten

We are currently interested in collecting buttons that have images of actual historical figures on them. (It's part of a friendly competition we're preparing for at our upcoming state convention.) We're considering purchasing the following button ... Here's a sharpened image ... As best as we can make out, the lettering is "IMP NERVA CAES (possible missing letters) P.M.T RP COS II PP" My father collected Roman and Byzantine coins, and this button looks like it was modeled after one. Our Googling efforts so far, however, are leaving us without a positive ID of the individual. Does anyone here know if this is an actual historical figure (as opposed to, say, a generic very noble looking gentleman), and, if so, who it is? Any help would be greatly appreciated! (We need twenty buttons with verifiably real people on them. The more variety in countries, time periods, professions as well as button types we can pull together, the better we'll do in the competition.)
