I came across this 2001 nickel in a roll and it looks like it has a satin (matte) finish to it. Does the satin finish improve the value of the coin at all (I know a 2001 nickel isn't worth much if anything)? I was just wondering if a coin with a satin finish may look that way because it was struck early in the dies life and if it improved the value any. Any guesses as to what this coin would grade at? Thanks for your help.
