I have two proof sets and the "coppers" in both sets have toned in this way.I think it's kinda cool!Don't know if it's normal for these issues or not,but it's  . The Royal Mint does do a great job with the likeness,and the coins.It makes it enjoyable to photograph them too.  Thanks for looking!

Last week, fsrdavis59 posted a Mercury dime in an older NGC holder the day after my husband brought this back from a coin show.. cool coincidence, this one's in a similar old NGC holder as well.
