johnny54321 Rest in Peace United States 4849 Posts	Posted 09/19/2009 5:30 pm This had been the most valuable coin in my collection for many years. My dad purchased it for me as a christmas gift 16 or 17 years ago when I was a pre-teen. I still have it today, and even though it doesn't quite make the grade cut for my current Lincoln collection(I am going for VF-20 or better); it still is one of my favorites. It has a lot of sentimental value, and has appreciated quite nicely over the last decade. My dad was shocked when I told him the approximate value. I think he paid $50 or so for it at the time.
