Is it a token, coin, or jewelry? I've been feeling like it's probably a token. I can read the side with the bust on it or at least some of it, it says "Jeanne" to the left of the bust and D'Arc to the right of the bust. If I'm right the spelling would be French. Very faintly on the back a sword pointing upwards and through a crown . There's a banner to the right of the sword that looks like it is flowing from the end of a spear. Anybody know where this comes from? It's really worn.I would really like to have a little history so I could do a better job of recording it. Thanks in advance

I found a "Golden Jeanne D'Arc Broach" on google products that is a match to one side only. The back of the broach was concave. The broach is so close, it could have been made from the token or coin. I'm still looking artdio. Thanks Clark

There is a white spot just in front of Jeanne's forehead in the middle of what looks like a place where a chunk of metal is missing. In the picture it looks like a hole. It is a bead of glass or something shiny stuck in the metal. Does this happen in molds sometimes or has it been in a fire or what do you think?

Hi Clark, well to be quite honest I guess it could happen if a foreign matter gold on the mold..As for a fire it is also possible... Well I have searched and found some very close examples but still nothing... I have forwarded your inquiry to a friend of mine who live in Paris France.. I am awaiting his reply.. I figured what better place to look ...
