Interesting article...and a good bit of info for people who have coins or anything else in safety deposit boxes.

It really would be awful to loose all of your coins, but, that cannot compare to loosing a relative in a terrorist attack.

The people lost that day, including an old Navy buddy of mine, is what makes me tear up.

Sort of an extreame instance. In this instance more valuable things were lost than some coins. Those can be replaced but people can't be replaced.
And as to safe deposit boxes, I would compare the amount of coins lost in a safe deposit box to the ones lost in homes due to robberies and or fires any time. And the same with home safes. People I know that have had fires in their home and a safe found the heat melted all the plastic in the safe due to heat and all over everything. And too, as the word spreads of a home safe, crooks assume you have millions in them and a gun to your head opens a home safe every time.
