I was wondering which State Quarter you thought featured the best design.
If you had to just pic one, I just went through this issue when choosing the one to represent the State Quarter series in my US type set.

I narrowed it down to a few, and finally decided on....

Alaska

Which state would you choose?

There is just something about the Montanna quarter that strikes my fancy.

Although not the best looking, I picked my home state of Minnesota.

Alaska is a great looking coin.

I've always like the Connecticut quarter. Honestly, I haven't really looked them all over though.

I'd go with my home state too, MN. But if you are one of those unlucky people with the horrible state design, might want to pick a random state lol.

I picked an Idaho from circulation since it was toning already into a very nice golden color.

In other words, I went for looks over substance...

I had to look through all 50 designs to pick one out. Nevada is my favorite because of the running horses and the way that it's designed to be aesthetically pleasing within the circular perimeter.

Connecticut is my second favorite even though I seem to see it in circulation ALL the time. (Or, maybe I notice it more because I like how it looks.) What an awesome tree!

I always kind of liked Rhode Island, not sure why. I also like Minnesota and Oregon. BUT, my favorite, and the one in my 7070, is obviously Texas. :) It's hard to beat a high grade proof TX.

when getting one for my 7070 set I just got the one from my own state but to be honest I don't think I have ever really paid much attention to all the different designs to really pick a favorite. If I am throwing all my change in the jar and I see the Wisconsin quarter it always catches my eye and I have to look for a high or low leaf. Even though this isn't a very eye pleasing design it is still the one I find myself looking at the most

I've been thinkng about this and I concluded that the first State Quarter, Delaware, would be an excellent candidate for a type set.

I've got to say Mass. Not only is it where I grew up, but as an early American history fan, the minuteman says it all...
