Decided to digitalize what I have right now and compile what I have. This way I can easily tell what I am missing. Still quite a lot of holes but it does look nice. I recently completed the 1 chon type set and it was really tough!

Note to those with slow bandwidth - each file is about 300kb so it will take time to download.

Nevertheless, enjoy!

Interesting, I've never seen so many older Korean coins in one place.

One thing though: it would appear that you have a lot of these upside down -- the wreath with flower issue should have the flower at the top.

WpgLwr, I know that the reverse is upside down - this is because the coins were struck in coin alignment. I made sure to note it supposedly if I flipped the pages from side to side.

Impressive number of Korean coins in one place.

I am also impressed by just having your coins so clearly documented. I have got to do that. I have never had the ability with a camera to get it done. But I am learning slowly.

I was also impressed by the holder for the coins - neat way to translate each date. It beats having to turn to the chart in Krause every time I get one of these coins. Who makes them?

Excellent collection. Where did you find the album? I would like to get one for my Korean and Japanese coins.

swamperbob and echizento, this is a fantasy digital album that I created. It would be very interesting if I can take this idea to Dansco or anyone else and sell it to them.

The reason why I created this is simply because I'm quite frustrated over the varieties of coin albums in the market. Sure Dansco or other manufactuers may make impressive US albums but when it comes down to world coinage - they are clearly not good enough. Honestly, how difficult could it be to create a specialized album? All you need is to create a few holes on a piece of cupboard, print labels and it's done.

Swamperbob - that is precisely the reason why I decided to include the dates as well as the varieties so that I don't have to look at a reference book everytime I look at what I am missing. Glad you agreed with what I come up with.

Interesting...That could be a relatively untapped market. However, you would be at the mercy of what the individual collector would want.
I did notice the album had a digital look to it...

cownas22, I personally don't think it's that difficult. I reckon it's the pricing that would put off a lot of collectors. For instance, capital plastics is one good example.
