Well, these were only released as proof-like. Though it should be noted that I have seen a lot that have been cleaned or have other streaks and scratches on them. This one looks like a decent proof-like though.

These were issued to commemorate the Festival of Britain in 1951. $10 is an average price; in original box of issue commands a premium.

WpgLwr- Really, only $10 on average? Interesting since they are listed in Krause for about $25, right?

Yeah, the vast majority of them I've seen go for around $10, and sometimes as low as $8. I have seen the ones with original box of issue go for $25.

G'day, 1951 was the last dragon on a coin of that size.
I paid $12 for mine, in its little red box.

Hi there, I bought two in boxes, one little red and another little green, paid $10 US back a year ago, from ebay of course, and the seller was in Belgium. This is one of my most favourite cupro nickel British coins.
