Has anyone received the sets yet? I would hate to spend that much on the set for only wanting a few coins from it. Does the RedBook have separate listings for satin finish and business strikes?

I received the Silver Proof Set as a gift - and I think I will stick with that. I'm a real sucker for silver.

Also on the plan, received 2-sets today, opened one, very nice, except the razor knife gouge across the back of the Denver halve, some things do not change, I have seen more and more of this sub-par coinage in the last 2-3 years, oh well....

I picked up my set at the Denver Mint Gift Shop today! Oddly, there were three different customers who came in while I was there, who asked for the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial One Cent Proof Set, which isn't available until next month! One of them bought a Clad Proof Set, one got the Silver Proof Set, and one got the Uncirculated Set. Now I finally have a 2009-D Nickel and 2009-D Dime (albeit in Satin Finish).

The Unc. Lincolns seem to be in much nicer condition then my Proof Lincolns in regards to spotting etc!

Received the rest of my Uncirculated sets for this year, another 3, every set was damaged worse than the one before, gouges across the face of JFK, the Dollars are a disgrace, all banged up, toooo much to even consider keeping all 3-sets going back and I will request replacements, anyone else finding the sub-par coinage poor quality control crud.....

Morgansdad:
Sorry to hear you are getting such terrible sets from the Mint.
I must be one of the lucky one.
I've only had to send back one set of Proofs and that was because one of the quarters (American Samoa) was chewed up pretty bad , but for the most part, I'm satisfied with my sets.

Quote: latman100: Check out the Aussie sets US$24.84 non-GST price (international orders) for 6 Uncirculated coins! RAM's 6-coin Proof Set is even worse, at a whopping US$95.12 non-GST price (at the current exchange rate!) ( That would make me want to buy Perth Mint NCLT instead, at least I'd get an ounce or two of silver! )
